From London to Disney Magic

Our Disneyland Paris Spring Break Dream

After an unforgettable few days exploring London, it was time for the next chapter of our Spring Break adventure—one I’ve dreamed about for years. We packed up, said goodbye to the Thames, and headed for the magic of Disneyland Paris, traveling in style aboard the Eurostar.

This part of the trip felt especially meaningful to me. Staying at the iconic Disneyland Hotel—and in a Castle Club room—has been on my Disney bucket list for as long as I can remember. Walking into this experience with my family felt surreal in the very best way.

Day 1: From London to the Castle Gates

After our morning visit to Westminster Abbey, we began our journey to Paris with an 11:00 AM private transfer from the London Marriott County Hall, ensuring a seamless, stress-free transition from the hotel to the train station. Shortly after, we boarded the Eurostar for our journey to Marne-la-Vallée–Chessy, the station located just steps from the entrance to Disneyland Paris.

Traveling by Eurostar was not only efficient—it felt special. Watching the scenery change as we crossed borders made the journey feel like part of the adventure, not just a means of transportation. One of the most memorable moments was traveling through the tunnel under the English Channel. As we passed through the Channel Tunnel, we were enjoying lunch at our seats. We’d been a little nervous about this part of the journey, but it ended up being smooth and completely uneventful—in the best way. Before we knew it, we were on the other side, one step closer to Disney magic.

By late afternoon, we arrived and checked into the stunning Disneyland Hotel. Recently reimagined, the hotel feels like a royal retreat perched right at the gates of the park. Castle Club guests are welcomed into a quieter, more refined world with exclusive access and thoughtful touches at every turn.

That evening, we enjoyed dinner at La Table de Lumière, where elegant French cuisine meets Disney storytelling. It was the perfect first-night meal—relaxed, celebratory, and delicious.

To end the day, we headed to our private Castle Club viewing area for Disney Tales of Magic. Watching fireworks sparkle above Sleeping Beauty Castle from such an intimate setting was pure Disney enchantment—and a moment I’ll never forget.

Day 2: All the Magic, No Rushing

Day two was all about experiencing the parks to the fullest. With Disney Premier Access Ultimate, we moved through both Disneyland Park and Walt Disney Studios Park with ease—spending our time enjoying attractions instead of standing in lines.

One of the most magical moments of the day was dining at Auberge de Cendrillon, a true dream come true for this lifelong Cinderella fan. Cinderella has always been my favorite Disney Princess, so getting to eat in her restaurant felt incredibly meaningful. I even wore special edition Cinderella 75th Anniversary Mickey ears, a Cinderella carriage necklace, and a Cinderella-blue dress just for the occasion. Stepping outside to take photos with the Cinderella carriage in front of the restaurant was the perfect finishing touch—it was one of those “pinch me” moments I’ll treasure forever.

That evening, we watched the fireworks again—this time from inside the park with a reserved viewing package. Seeing the nighttime spectacular from different perspectives made each experience feel unique.

Day 3: A Parisian Interlude

On our third day, we stepped outside the Disney bubble for a bit and headed into Paris for an experience included through our Disneyland package: a Seine River cruise followed by a lunch at the Eiffel Tower, and time to explore the city on our own.

I was especially thankful for Colin and his confidence in navigating the Paris metro system. Thanks to him, we were able to wander the city with ease, hopping on and off trains and discovering other areas of Paris we might have otherwise missed. He led us to Notre Dame, and from there he led us to find a Games Workshop Warhammer store, where he happily picked out a souvenir that felt uniquely him. Moments like that—watching your child lead the way in a foreign city—are the ones that make travel so meaningful.

The tour was the perfect way to blend classic Parisian sites with our Disney adventure—allowing us just enough time to soak in the city's beauty before returning to the magic.

Day 4: A Royal Farewell

Our final morning began with a Castle Club breakfast with Disney Princess characters. Sharing a quiet, elegant breakfast while meeting beloved characters felt intimate and unhurried—truly a standout experience.

After spending more time in Disneyland Park, we returned to the Disneyland Hotel for lunch at Royal Banquet, a celebratory meal that felt like the perfect send-off.

Before leaving for the airport, we enjoyed afternoon tea in the Castle Club lounge—one last chance to pause, reflect, and take in the magic of staying right at the heart of Disneyland Paris.

A Dream Come True

This portion of our Spring Break trip was everything I hoped it would be—and more. From gliding across countries on the Eurostar to falling asleep just steps from the castle, staying in the Castle Club at Disneyland Paris truly felt like living inside a Disney dream.

It was a reminder that travel can be both joyful and meaningful—and that sometimes, dreams really do come true.

If you’ve ever imagined combining iconic European travel with Disney magic, this is an experience worth dreaming about.
